Belts That Don’t Swell
With Oil.
Solvent extraction plants process soybean, mustard, rice bran, groundnut and cotton seed. The flakes, meal and de-oiled cake carry residual oil, and some product comes off the desolventiser-toaster while still warm. An ordinary rubber belt soaks up this oil, swells, loses strength and cracks.
The Right Belt for Oily Material
Our oil resistant belt is made with a nitrile-based compound that resists swelling from vegetable and mineral oils. Where the meal is also hot, the oil & heat resistant (ORHR) belt gives resistance to both oil and heat.

Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan have many soya and mustard plants, and our Betul unit is well placed to supply them. Keep a spare roll of the correct grade in stock – mixing grades on the same line leads to uneven wear and joint problems.
