A sponge iron (DRI) plant handles iron ore, coal and dolomite on the feed side, and hot sponge iron and char on the discharge side. Iron ore is heavy and abrasive, and product from the cooler can still be hot when it reaches the belt. Both ends of the plant need different belts.

Why Our Heat Resistant Belt Helps
A normal belt carrying material at 120–150°C starts to harden and crack on the top cover quite quickly. Our heat resistant belt uses a compound that keeps its flexibility at these temperatures, and a heat-stable fabric that does not shrink. Where temperatures go higher, we offer the ultra heat resistant (UHR) belt.
We supply sponge iron and steel units in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal, and can dispatch common sizes from stock.
